The enchanting Mountain Gorillas are the most popular animals in the Bwindi Impenetrable National park. It is preferred but not essential. You need to however be physically fit and willing to walk/hike in the jungle. Some days can have ascents also. These hikes may range from 2-4 hrs. depending upon how soon or late we reach the mountain gorillas.

The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park nor the Mgahinga National Park are home to the main African big 5. However , whilst in Uganda you can visit other parks like the Queen Elizabeth National Park for sighting lions, giraffe and other animals.
